years ago I bought a few Epox that hit 200 FSB Back then 200 was not reachable, also the Epox main man posted on here, I do forget names badly now, what's the name of the guy who drilled mobo's for waterblocks and posted on here.

I think there was someone who's name began with a J or a D that might been doing this? He had piping going outside and into a reservoir underground and all sorts.

I just remembered the Epox man.

Holst, according to him I was number 1 for destroying Epox mobo's.

I remember blowing up quite a few Gigabyte mobos from Tek.

I know who you mean, but can;t remember his nickname.... he was a bit of a legend online... I bought a gfx card (gf3 iirc?) with water blocks on it from him via this forum.... without realising who I was buying it from... crapped a brick when he pointed to his website and I realised who he was !

I've got someone from XS-PC in my MSN,  Paul I think.

He used to be on here.

knighty

bladerunner !

he was the guy with an old gas cylinder buried in his garden to act as a dual heat sink and reservoir !

iirc, his gfx card blocks were miles ahead of anyone else, and nvidia asked him to help them with theirs ?
(or something like that)

Privateer

do you remember Trubadoor and his fried eggs, he was from here he was a good overclocker he sold his Intels on here !

knighty

does it count as "selling" stuff if you take payment and never sent it ?

Clock'd 0Ne

LOL, I met Trubador when i bought something off him before he started ripping people off, he seemed a bit of a geezer so it never surprised me.

There was also another lad who posted here from AlphaCool or something, i think Vini or Sam hooked me up with him and we reviewed 1 or more of their Watercooling kits on Gurureview, he also went to Samcrasher afaik and flew in from Europe, Sweden / Holland / Germany or something, it was a loooong time ago.

You mean the German lad Awesome who worked for Noiseblocker I think? He joined the military!

Paul (XSPC) I talk to all the time.
He the waterblock man in terms of it is his company. He also modded a 360 to have two reservoirs and water cooling.

Trying to get him to float around here again once it is more sorted, I do not think he is the guy you are thinking of though.

@knighty
Was it you that put the event into the open air? Someone here where the fan at the back of their pc went just went straight out through the wall.
