I was logged in when I posted! It manged to get my username as the author...but it said anonymous next to the post ?!

I always buy Tescos 21p cheapass stuff as I prefer it to tap...but, then I notice what crazy ammounts you can spend on it and cant help but wonder if it is just a big scam

tap water has GOT to be filtered (at least round here it has!) but once its been through the Brita its as good as any bottled stuff.

And if youre after sparkling, get a sodastream.  Keep the bottles of tap water in the fridge, and carbonate them when you need them, works a treat :yarr:

I can. Sparkling water is like driving a BMW 5 series instead of, say, a yaris.

Good thing we dont drink beamers then really.

Get your hands greasy fixing said BMW, then rinse your hands in sparkling water - then imagine what it does to your insides!

The only men who drink from the taps in Shropshire are the ones that want to mutate!  And anyone who thinks about drinking out the River Severn is either suicidal, a dog, or a suicidal dog! :D

bottled water is such a massive waste of energy. bottling, transport etc

the transport of water via mains is such an efficient system.

I think everyone should buy a filter and quit f**king about with bottled water

I remeber reading somewhere that if all bottled water producers were to stop tomorrow there would be some crazy saving on world oil reserves. Cant remember off the top of my head what it was though
