:rage: I f**king hate top 10 lists
1) Theyre a moronic way of tying items of a loosely similar theme together without doing any actual work.
2) They are f**king everywhere.
3) The really retarded ones split the list across ten seperate pages. I have a f**k-off 22" screen. I can cope with more than one paragraph per page.
4) Its like a f**king virus. Top ten cute animals beget top ten cute puppies beget top ten puppies being sick beget top ten piles of sick...
5) They usually start to struggle by no.5 because the author hasnt thought out his/her list and really cba to think of anything.
6) They give up and change it to top 6. how f**king lazy can you f**king get? f**k.
5) This list quantity reduction is a growing trend and is not paired with any rise in quality. The lists are just getting shorter.
4) And shorter.
3) Shorter.
2) .
1) f**k off.
Referring to the ones on the net?
Sometimes theyre entertaining or informative. I read one about top Sci-Fi films a few weeks back that led me to discover "A Boy and his Dog" which was interesting to say the least.
What I hate more is the top 50/100... tv programs.
Z list celebs talking about moments that *might* have elicited a brief chuckle when you first saw them. The moments themselves usually heavily cut and shown without any other context, making them a bland and almost pointless show. Only thing worse is when my father decides to watch one that has been on half a dozen other times. Not only is the whole premise based upon repeating media, but repeatedly watching the repeats is just...just..I dont know, you might as well sit in an office chair and spin round, at least itll provide a new experience.
It wont be long before we get a "top 100 top 100s" I tell you.

Truly this enrages me - multi-page articles in general suck balls - surely weve reached the point where this could be a user-configurable option if you still reading your articles in lynx or whatever...
