I dont want to get into a debate about it but surely a high profile arrest like this isnt really the way to go for a links site that hosts none of the content? Shouldnt they be going after the hosts? :?

I cant see this going to court and if it does he will win. If he doesnt rehost it someone else happily will.
Anyway... can always just go straight to Stage6 or the other 2 hosting things he linked to :P
Stage6 is really good but the search thing is crap. It takes ages to find anything on there.
Im liking the argument that seems to be the prevailing opinion. They are attempting to prosecute the guy for hosting links. However if it is illeagal to gather links to copyright material into one place then Google, Yahoo, MSN Serach etc etc are screwed!
This was the same point made when Oink was dragged down.
