It wasnt, they suspended knighty from an aircraft circling above and his attractiveness simply sucked the helicopter off the ground  :mrgreen:  :tinhat:

Yes, the blades are frozen because the frame rate of the camera matches the rotation rate of the hub so that the blades move to a position where they cover where another has been.
