'Bama for me as well, although any of others would also be preferable over Romney.

Obama was handed a bucket of sh*te when he took the white house. He has had republican seats to deal with at every turn but managing to make headway. With everything back on track thinking of what he could do for the US is very interesting and I believe he would do well. Very good president for the US.

I just hate America for being so dumb. I know it is a over saying in that regard but when you see people voting Mit Romney because they feel like a change or ones who want to vote for him despite hes policies meaning they will be taxed more and have less money, his actual policies are dire!
But credit to republicans they always target the way they work for thick aspect of America and always go with that otherwise they would never get anywhere.

What is always funny is the rest of the world always sees this sort of thing and know when US has a good thing or not and always shocked when they go for the wrong one.
I think It was the news where every republican in power has made a war as it makes money for the people they want to make money in the states.
So if he goes in watch our Iran.

John McCain picked Sarah Palin over him to run with him. She is a complete nutter and he picked her so what does that say about Romney? lol

I was just thinking that I know people in the UK, all well educated and intelligent, who vote for all three main UK parties.

However, if my Facebook news feed is to be believed (I haven't conducted anything resembling a scientifically valid poll), I don't know a single person who is vocally unhappy about Obama getting 4 more years. Hence, I don't seem to know a single Republican voter, despite the statistics suggesting that comically close to 50% of Americans vote Republican.

This seems odd to me.

Consider that most Americans don't own a passport - the 'American tourists' we usually encounter over here are the educated, cultured ones, the places we're likely to visit when we go to America have a decent portion of Democrats (California and New York are Democrat states, Florida is a bit mixed.) - it doesn't paint a good picture of the rest... There are enough people who are very rich and very selfish or who have been brainwashed by religion that the GOP can attract support from anyone who wants to pay minimal taxes, doesn't like gays, gets angry about abortion, immigration etc..etc...

Quite frankly Obama is a sh*t politician, I'm still glad he got elected as Mitt the Mormon would have been a total nightmare.

The less crap of two crap candidates got it... Obama might get some things done but he's unlikely to make any significant achievements, the GOP dominated house of representatives will prove frustrating to him again....

And the result was unexpected?  ??? Obama VS Chocolate = no contest, even if their colours are initially deemed similar there is an obvious difference in the taste and effect.

Except in a lot of instances scientists and other rational thinkers start off with being willing to drop any theory which proves to be wrong but then become entrenched in their beliefs. Paranoid people can produce very rational reasons for their beliefs, even if those beliefs are completely wrong.

Republican: any belief which isn't held by the majority of Republicans is evil. Their voters are inevitably biased towards older people, religious fanatics, and those with lots of money.

Surprisingly the Democrats are becoming more Republican, despite Republican attempts to deny this. The reasoning behind this is they want the votes too...

PS: Anyone who thought that the US election result in seats was going to be close was subject to media hype, there was very little chance of Romney winning.
