Gas prices are double that when Bush came into office. Im hoping for triple by the end of summer.

Its about the only thing the bone headed voters will understand this fall at the voting booth during mid-terms.

I bet the American public are enjoying it. I know that Hugo Chávez Frías, President of Venezuela, will be loving it, every cent rise puts millions of dollars into his countrys budget and its all thanks to Bush. Before the gulf war he was heading for the scrap heap. Chávez is also renegotiating the deals with the oil companies who arent at all pleased.

So will Castro too, and the Canadians :lol:

Venezuela and Canada each have huge reserves of extra-heavy crude oil so keep an eye on them for the future. $50 a barrel makes that stuff nicely profitable.

Its a shame it will be bloody insane in Europe though. Its at $3 here, not that much when you adjust for inflation:

Fwiw, I think the whole wanting to smush Iran thing is to get a gateway to all of that Caspian sea crude. ;)

Yes, it WILL be a bull market, and that statue is on Wall Street if you didnt know already.

I guess Afghanistan is the better place for a pipeline, Irans just because he wants to blow sh*t up. :lol:

i hope it doesnt go up too much i am struggling to find enough cash to keep my car going atm, that is for basic stuff too, work/shopping etc. not vacations.

Im glad that I run on bio at times like this, but the odd time i drive a petrol car it almost infuriates me to see how much the stuff is
