Did you buy it?

To me, from what i gather you shouldnt get that popup unless your using the test copy of Win 7.

You can just patch the activation system and override it... *cough* :P

Or just install Ubuntu and not use a crappy, expensive, MS OS...

Vista - crap yes. Windows 7 is not crap though, Can not label that on the OS because it is pretty good.

Tbh not crap and not expensive. I got W7 Prof for less than a console game, and in terms of the number of hours use its got compared to a console game you cant get much better value for money tbh.

Ubuntu (Linux in general) has the worst GUI of the big three OS.
Until they actually have fonts that do not require half the screen to render I am unable to switch.

Going to have that popping up on my parents machine and my PC back in Shrewsbury as they were running the RC of Win7.

It only tells you it might not be legit and reboots every 2 hours from what I gather so not the end of the world but still a bit of a pain.

Gets better all the time but I agree, Every time I use it I just get annoyed.
