In sweden we have it very good one would think but the ones everyone got know will be obsolete because they are going to change from mpeg2 to mpeg4 (Norway was smart enough to start out with mpeg4) so a lot of electronic waste and expense for the customers  :cry:

That sucks.
Somthing along the same lines happened with HiDef Satellite Recievers.

What digital system do you have in the UK ?

Believe we are mostly on Mpeg 4
Astra satellite is Mpeg 4
Cable / Virgin Media is Mpeg 2
Not sure about freeview/terrestial

Its mostly the HiDef stuff it changes for. We dont really have any HiDef channels except for the ones Sky Offer on satellite. They dont offer them on Cable.
