What do you do when you cant sleep?

Im currently catching up on work with a cuppa and some music, if I get enough done I might catch up on the magazines Ive not read yet.

I troll the internet. as Im doing now.
Currently downloading stuff.

I work nights at the moment anyway, so sleep isnt an option :\

Coffee, tea, chocolate all have caffeine in them, they will reduce your sleep rather than increase it. Malted milk drinks like horlicks or the generic alternative labels are best.

I end up not sleeping quite a bit, managed all of four hours last night. If I really need to KO myself its a sleeping pill. I occasionally used to resort to warm alcohol, such as vodka in horlicks, if you dont drink very often it can do the job. Unfortunately I am banned from this due to the drugs

Read an instruction manual or anything you find exceptionally boring.

I slept fine for a few hours, and woke up at the ungodly hour and couldnt get back to sleep.

Oh and I take in enough caffeine to wake a corpse and still sleep fine Serious, thats not the problem. Id already been awake 30 mins before making a brew.

I drink copious amounts of coffee. So I detox with wine.
