Following on from something Bacon said in the NFS PS thread, about quitting WoW and looking for a good game..

I quit WoW about a year back, I used to love it so much, I could spend so much time on it, however im a 360 boy now and rarely use my pc, also, ive done a few characters on WoW, and it is absolutely brilliant the first, second, even third time you play through, after that it gets quite repetitive for me. I havent tried the expansion pack, but then id rather have an xbox game because my PC is old and in pieces atm.

I downloaded Fable as part of the xbox originals that have just been released, and im not normally and RPG boy, but it seems maturity has brought this new found love for RPG.

What I want more than anything else is a great MMORPG (peferrably something simplish that my gf could join in with me). But id settle for a great RPG

So my question is, any good RPGs on 360? Im get oblivion, as it is the obvious choice. But any other reccomendations welcome.

And.. any good mmorpgs, for either 360 or PC? (that isnt WoW?)

and I wish someone would make an MMO for 360.

Blue Dragon is worth a go if you can find it second-hand. It got a lot of unfair criticism for the demo throwing players in the deep end. Hopefully Lost Odyssey will be better received by fans of the genre.

Mass Effect is probably the only truly great RPG you can buy atm though.

White Giant

Give Burning Crusade a try, massively different from Vanilla WoW. Im currently on a brake from WoW though, seen Black Temple, so not much more for me to do. :D

Mass Effect is only £29.99 in game this week,

Same mate, with the new job and getting stuck in traffic everynight i keep missing the good raids :P, at least i can say i have seen t6 raiding, its more than most people :)

PC MMOs lets see

Guild Wars
Lord of the Rings Online

Oh also Tabula Rasa its ok, but it went open beta before they fixed a lot of issues, and i would bet its still buggy now, but its set in the future, sci fi mmo is different and a lot of fun.

all are still quite popular games, i have pimped characters in them also :D

Ill wait now for next year, some good mmos hitting the pc:

Age of Conan
Guild Wars 2

Also want to See how Fallen Earth turns out, and im sure i missed another contender.

I just need something to tie me over now, will most likely get another 360 this weekend and see how that pans out, might get a few months of fun from consoles.

If you want offline mmos i think Neverwinter Nights comes recommended

I do see myself as having a big opinion on mmos i pretty much have a pimped account/s in all the good ones running atm :D

I'm looking forward to Guild Wars 2 like the original it will have no subscription fees but will have a persistent world unlike the original, which only had persistent towns and outposts.

Its still some way off but does sound good and with no fee it sounds even better.
