I am ordering UPS for someone, they have £50 to spend...

...Which would you recommend..... And how long will it power a P4 2.8 base unit with CRT monitor?

...It doesnt have to be all singing all dancing.. just to make sure that the system can stay powered long enough to shut down, or just stay running until the power comes back on...

Thanks all

Ordered two of these (for a computer and a the rack with server):

Belkin 800VA UPS 3-outlet IEC Socket CEW
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/126406
£34.98 (Which was less expensive than the lower rated belkin models)

The reviews seem good, and should be ample for the requirements!

Serious

Lets know how good/bad they are. Im thinking of getting a couple too.

Beaker

im sure my local Staples has those in for a knockdown price at the moment.  :\

Cypher

I would have said pick up an APC 250VA.

Shakey

One of the societies im in at uni has a couple of the belkin ones. Theyre not bad and can run a lighting desk and sound desk for long enough to find what idiot turned the power off. They also handily make annoying beeps when they loose power, and fit in a 2u flightcase.
