This is why I hate Windows - errors after errors or freezing up every time I use my laptop. And hardly got any rubbish on my hard drive. I got an external hard drive and use that to place everything which has 250GB total storage on there. I want an Apple MacBook NOW!!

beav

all sorted now Bear after your post thank you ,

Batch this is my first experience with vista going wrong so i cannot really comment yet ,but yea i done the same with a mobile hard drive as well , its just so much more easier to move stuff about.

Great I am glad it worked out, I have just a limited knowledge of vista my daughter has a laptop with vista and it was a bitch getting it to see and be seen on our home network but I managed to do it after a lot of swearing.
