id rather just get it running as is lol still needs brakes bushes and a remap before i can get it on the road

What ECU? Guy that came over to do mine is excellent with most ECUs and is based in Oxford (I think) and travels europe wide.

Binary Shadow

its a MBE ecu, itll need to go on 4x4 rollers tho as its not road legal and its perm 4WD

Poison_UK

Im going to be needing a re-map soon. Getting a new fuel pump to sort my judder at cruising speeds, along with a few twinks ;)

Looking also at a set of Forged Pistons :)

Mark

Not a wild lot of reason to go forged on an NA engine - unless youre planning to go turbod - in which case youd be better off with an 1800 20v turbo engine - end up a lot cheaper...

Poison_UK

Aye Ive been looking at the 1800T engines with an 04 turbo on, tho Im going to have to cut away a large portion of the bulk head to make the Turbo fit...

DEViANCE

Ive been holding off posting in here untill id had time to give her a good going over and add some of the mods Ive bought, but Ive been too busy.

Here is a pic of how she stands atm.

Shes got some nasty scratches, bird etching and swirls waiting to be machine polished out.

Got these 18" alloys waiting for tyres

and some Eibach Pro Sport springs to lower it 30mm booked into demon tweaks next week.

some mudflaps and pressed alloy german style plates to go on.

hopefully easter weekend is when most will get done.

Holst

Ive still got the prelude.
I left it SORN for over a year when I was traveling and it started first time when I got back. Although it did need a few things to get it through the MOT.

Its a 1994 Uk spec VTEC Honda Prelude.
The only mods are the wheels which are 17" OZ superleggeras.

Be carefull with pressed German plates, a large amount of people getting handed out 30 quid fines for none UK plates.

PHASE5

Heres my ride!

For those who cant tell its a Volvo V70 D5 SE. With a 2.4 turbo diesel engine and 190 horses under the bonnet!

Cypher

Most comforatble seats ever.  :ptu:

Ive been holding back a bit posting these.  This is my second car finally got rid of the megane after 3 years, Ive had it about a month now.  It is utterly fantastic.  The weather has been sh*te the last few weekends so havent been able to give it a proper clean yet but these images will have to do.

The old 1.6 Megane E RT

Seat Leon 1.9 TDI Cupra

Poison_UK

Like the Cupra a lot Cypher :) Good choice!

Serious

Old style Meganes always looked nice to me too, much better than the newer, big bum, version.

Seat is a nice looking follow on for you ;)

Poison_UK

Only thing I dont like about the Cupras on a instant what hits me is that I think the arches should be slightly flaired

Just think it would took the wheels in nice and connect the areas of the body work better :)

Cypher

Thanks for the nice comments.  The wheels are 225s if i remember correctly, they are huge compared to the meganes biscuits.  :mutley:

The "cupra" pack is more the front and rear bumpers along with a few minor things such as the TC.  Its quite subtle imo, I was worried about it shouting out to much.  I wasnt looking for the cupra specifically its more the fact the engine derivative I wanted comes in that model.

1.9TDI, 150hp, 350NM Torque, 53 plate, 40K Miles on the clock, perfect service history, no major scrathes.  Well looked after.

Took me a while to settle on that model, Its basically an A3 / Mk4 Golf but I much prefer the styling/character of it.  I intend it to last me 3-4 years.
