had a go on guitar hero the other day - not bad and I can see why non guitarists love it. I think its great that its bringing that buzz to all.

However I did have to spend a couple of hours playing my ESP afterwards with Led Zep and GnR CDs. Thats a different feeling altogether... :D
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

Remember though - theres people who play guitar and then theres guitarists.... :heehaw:

To be honest though, I didnt mean it to come across that way - indeed my old bands other guitarist loves it to death (probably more than playing his proper guitar TBH). I just cant get as excited about it though as I can about conquering a new Metallica solo or learning some Paul Gilbert or Steve Vai pieces - its just a lot more rewarding (for me).

Most Metallicas pretty doable but I never got close to anything by Steve Vai tbh.  That guys got some serious skill.  Remember trying to learn some of the stuff off one of his albums (alien love skin or something?) and realising Id be better sticking to rhythm haha
