Just bought a sapphire 3450 primarily for hdmi output with sound, but no ati dvi-hdmi dongle.  After buying a dvi-hdmi cable that cant get sound out, pretty much invalidates the card.  Can;t purchase the dongle from ATi as only ship to canada and US.  I hate Sapphire.  Stay away from this 3450 gc if you want it for hdmi.

send it back. goods not as described bla bla goods dont do what it intends to do

hmm, you dont tend to get the extras in the cheaper stuff anyway.  Its one of the ways they make the gear even cheaper.

Thanks Egg good find especially as Sapphire say that theres none in Europe.  Just hoping it carries sound.

This dongle it doesnt carry sound on the Sapphire 3xxx series boards, the annoying thing is could have saved a buying the card as the onboard carries hdmi sound from the dvi.  Apparently HIS and Asus 3650 have a dongle included.  HIS dongle from Komplett works with Sapphire 3450.
