I do not profess to know very much about it but I would imagine that there are indeed some serious psychological problems afoot if a person lets themselves put on that much weight, as easy as it is to say "they are fat bastards and should stop eating" I doubt it is anywhere near as simple as that. People who overeat end up anything between overweight and obese, out of shape and generally a bit tubby and lardy. But to end up like that chap in the video.... something far worse and obviously more severe is afoot.

I cant help but feel sorry for these people who are so fat. This guy should have got some help way before he got that big IMO.
I dont see any real between this and any other disease. A normal healthy person couldnt get that fat even if they tried too.. he obviosuly has some serious medical or psycological condition.. probably both.

hes on tomorrow on  Extraordinary People at 9pm, he looks ok to me, even has a girlfriend.

There is several medical reasons which can be the case if someone gets that fat, thyroid gland problem is one.

Eating to that level is a problem.  Just because there isnt necessarily a physical cause like your illness doesnt make it less valid.

Hes not just overweight hes mentally lost it somewhere to reach that level.  Maybe they dont explain that on Jeremy Kyle but thats someone to be helped not shouted at.

There are differing levels of mental illess, and different types.
