Im also looking for some help.

I bought a nice new kandalf lcs & HDD from Tekheads, and the pump was DOA so i thought i would buy a new pump to get a better one, bought a northbridge cooler and installed everything.

Managed to crush the northbridge on my 680i hence me buying a new interim motherboard.

The problem i now have is that the LCS came with a sticky foam pad for the waterblock backplate - and that was stock SOLID to the old mobo and tore into 3 pieces while renoving.

Can i find a replacement anywhere??? Not at all.....dont suppose anyone can help, or do i have to buy a whole new waterblock???  (which just seems mad!)

Thanks

Maldonado

hi alex,i was doin a bit off diggin around myself a while ago and did come across something similar on the thermaltake site, ive got a tai chi and will be doing upgrade to the cooling on it,lapp the water block etc flush it out etc etc,if i remember rightly it was said that you would almost certainly have to renew because you couldnt remove it with out it tearing etc etc, what you would use is another thing, try goin on thermaltakes site and do some searchin or ask the question on the site.....or maybe a bit of improvisation is all you need. after all its only insulation foam etc...thats what im goin to do....cheers....neil
