Post which console you would like from the 4 Sources - Apple, MS, Sony, Nintendo and describe the next gen console and what you want and see it having realistily
You may include images and details as much as you want et.

Xbox eternity

- Internal wifi and lan port supporting 1gb data as well as 100mb
- Blu Ray games and player
- Slot enabled hardrive with 200gig standard drive and able to be replaced
-  similar controllers but with the x button being a rollerbal
- Wii style remote as an accessory
- Better power management and a better powerbrick size (smaller) or not one at all
- OLED display for information - Connection, people online etc displayed there and not over your game etc
- Better cooling - quieter
- Forget vertical stance option as this can lead to damaged dics due to noobs
- Passive gyroscope motion sensing in the controllers: Not Used as an input to effect the game you control but as with vibration the movement you naturally make during a game will be used as an output into the game, the reverse of the vibration but the same as a feeback element not a useable feature like the sony controllers.

Ill give it 3 years on the next XBox and Sony and I dont think apple are likely to enter the market so not really worth speculating.

The Wii will probably get an upgrade first.  So my wish list for that would be:

* Put passively cooled Intel Centrino Atom processor cores in the handsets for more accurate positioning/processing power.
* Drop in a bluray drive with a graphics coprocessor capable of handling 1080p playback.

Thatll do really.  Until someone cracks coding properly on multi cores I cant see a major hardware switch in the console sector.  Which is probably why Sony and MS are saying itll be years before they release a new model.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Im not really gaming that much at the mo, just flash stuff till unis over. But Ill admit I thought about this when I saw the TV ad for Grand Tourismo I think for the PS3, that was probably the most realistic footage Ive seen for a console.

It got me thinking that really, by the time the PS3 is upgraded to the PS4, youre looking at a fair little while (What with the PS3 needing time for developers to utilise the processing power)

So I figured the next real major release would offer pretty damned near photorealistic graphics in games. Wireless integration for the internet with bluetooth keyboard/mouse bundles effectively turning the TV into a fairly decent PC for both the net and word processing etc.

Also figured the wifi would be using the latest tech allowing for good connectivity and speeds, meaning things like iplayer and 4OD would end up streaming to the big HDD as well.

I ultimately came to the conclusion that we were 1 or 2 generations away from a box that was your PC, Console, Media center, and TV Tuner in one. Probably your phone too.

Probably totally optimistic and unrealistic but I guess itll happen sooner or later. PCs wont be replaced but the console will be a serious contender for getting everyone online and using the internet, not just using live or whatever the console has for multiplayer.

- Force feedback you get blown up it shakes
- Gyro in the wii controller is used to create motion or actions ok.
- My suggestion is that a Gyro is in the controller but NOT used by the player to perform actions like the ps3 controller
- As with force feedback and how it id a passive thing here the gyro would be used to pick up the natural motion of the user, you lean left a bit while you play going round a corner of a car for example. As a driving game your driver will not lean as the code says but as you have.
In Gears of war 3 for example you move the controller naturally and it will create the twists of the body model

The atom core concept from steve is a good one

Also I picked the Xbox because I have had a 360 so I know what it lacks as a user, if I had a PS3 I would comment on the PS4, got to love people who just post to flame ^^
