My stereo needs a little more boom and a bit more loudy. I dont wanna put a third party hu in, and I wanna keep it all looking standard. Also I dont really want to spend much on it.

Mini probably sell an upgraded setup as an option, so you HU might have some pre-outs for an amp or somthing.

that might be the first thing to check.

Can it be done?

In a word, no.

Theres an outside chance your HU will have pre-outs, in which case you can get a small sub or something, otherwise its new speakers time - which aint gonna be cheap if you want some decent bass, not to mention the work of removing trim to get at the speakers
