As much as I love funny/stupid cat pictures...Ive just semi-rescued a bird that got attacked by a cat whilst it was settled down for the night. poor blighter is shocked and cant fly, just sat on my hand looking at me. Not much I could do for it but at least its now perched in the middle of a thick rose bush. If I hear the cat (Its got a bell on its collar haha) tonight it better pray that I dont sneak up on it...

Its nature, sh*t happens. You dont see Bill Oddie going and defending birds nests from predators. I know its blunt, but its the truth.

Best thing you can do to an invading cat it 1: pick it up     2: calm it down     3: Grab it by the tail, dunk it in a waterbut and throw it over the gate
