He mentions about the other two being closer to release after this and what not but basically there are other good films out this year, others like Batman have raked in the cash and they do not want to release the movie around these others. They want the Mulla and delaying it just for that. They are a company and you want to make your money so of course your going to look to maximise it but still to delay it 8 Months is crazy.

Because they know the suckers and fanboys/fangirls who buy into this sort of crap will put up with the delay without kicking up too much of a fuss. In fact any press is good press and the media attention this garners will only make it more popular when it comes out.

Actually if you do a little bit of a google you will find a fuss is being kicked up in a big way already.
It is just them after more cash, it is just about finished, they will not be doing anything extra in the time it is delayed. All but order of the Poneix was released in November and that in July and that was the one that made the most money.
I can understand delaying for a bit more polish or delaying it a little to fit into a better time Slot But Warner botched up Justice League and a couple of other films being scrapped that they intended to be block busters and just do not want to compete this year and have a week summer next year and delaying a movie by nearly a year just to get more money is over the top be it any movie.

I guarantee that all of those armchair warriors kicking up a fuss on the interweb now will still flock to see it in 8 months time, in fact they will be more determined than ever to see it.
