It already is, but its going to get better. Watch out next year, cameras that shoot video at 3000 lines should be becoming available for about £1.5K. That would mean that, for some, the resolution issue will be downgrading it for blueray...

that is SERIOUSLY impressive.

I mean the resolution enhancement is cool, but the editing capabilitys are amazing. The flower shop where they removed the no parking sign is the one which really impressed me.

I see potential for a photo editing tool here as much as anything else. You want to take a photo of that flower shop, so you take the shot you want and a couple more from the sides, plus some video footage circling around. Then you use this software to remove the no parking sign and re-create the view you want.

So effectively, blu-ray still hasnt reached mainstream and its almost out of date already?
