I took up EVE again a few weeks back and have started from scratch with a completely new character. Im determined to make a decent go of it this time and wondered if anyone else was still playing from Tek?

Was.  But it takes up far too much of my time.

How do you sell characters?

Started before xmas and pretty much lasted 2 weeks, i find it highly annoying having to wait in real time to level skills.

Played a demo, that was about it.

I really dont have time for that sort of game.

I gave up, because I found you had to spend more time on it that even WoW players normally do.  Waiting for Jumpgate : Evolution.  Thats looking similar, but cooler.

My account is still active. Havent logged on for a while though.

My best advice is to try and get a good group of people asap. Try not to be led down the path of attempting to do pvp asap unless you really want to.

Take things at your own pace.

Skill doesnt come into the equation, its just Time, but with other games you dont spend your gametime waiting for your skills to level.

They even have a 3rd party program for eve that does it all for you.

It will all change soon, 2009 is the year of SciFi mmos, plenty of them coming out, im sure something else will get you addicted

Im waiting on that Aliens Colonial Marines game.  Brown trouser moments aplenty!
