Binary Shadow

After a wash:

Has a good few marks on the body and inside needs a good clean.. smells of wet dog as well.

Going to clean, clay, polish and wax the body then clean and febreze inside.

Aside from being a bit tatty its damn good, smooth to drive and just seems to make bumps vanish, closest thing to a range rover iv driven i think (aside from obviously the 2 range rovers iv had before), a fair bit of ground clearance as well which should be handy.

Oh and if anyone knows where i can get the rear light panel from the boot lid cheap let me know as its cracked in a bunch of places.

OT, but Why do I feel like I should recognise the park?

Upton country park.. probably been there yourself at least once

DEViANCE

looks smart. how come you need a 4x4?

Binary Shadow

heh well i needed something that could tackle dirt tracks, muddy fields and other such dodgy surfaces and the boxster doesnt have any ground clearance or confidence on that sort of thing.. needed a car i could fit a dog in as well

Ceathreamhnan

I bet thats a really useful load-carrier. What is the engine?

Binary Shadow

3 litre flat 6 boxer, 206bhp

Binary Shadow

well iv spent all day with the autoglym products, cleaned pretty much everything except the roof lining.

The leather is pretty far gone and theres no cleaning the seatbelt on the drivers side, so it still looks a little sorry for itself, need to clay and polish the paint next.

The smells gone and it is looking better than it was though.

just asking. Lot of people find them awkward to drive at first.
Ive only ever driven autos.

What are you using to get rid of the smell of dog?  I need to get rid of the bad tobacco smell from mine.

DEViANCE

Stardrops FTW.

Best cleaning product ever.

I used that to clean my cabin filters, how would you use it for the upholstry? Just make up a solution and dampen the seats etc?
