Years of fags and coffee are taking their toll :(

Where I work £350 for the trays and bleach bubbles method, if its laser I wouldnt have a clue tbh Ive never worked anywhere thats done it, but if you smoke and drink lots of coffee, drink red wine and eat lots of curry dont bother it only lasts about a year and everytime you do any of those your shortening the time scale...

Eggtastico

well I am all booked up to go the middle of next month!

Having a week out there, in a lovely spa resort.

wonder if the massage have extras on offer :heehaw:

Flights, Airport Parking & Hotel has cost me £400 for the week
I can double that as I will need to go again in 6 months after the implant
has healed, so he can fit the proper crown + having some other crowns/veneers
done the same time. So thats £800.

I basically have a budget of £5k, so lets see what work I can get done for around £4k

£15-20 for some crest white strips off of ebay ;)

I used them and everyone was like wow, have you had your teef done pete? Get the 14 day ones though - dont get the strongest ones.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Deaths Head

I was referred to a specialist dentist for my implant.  £2k sounds about right.  Its all well and good going abroad to get it done cheaper however it would have screwed me over.  The first attempt at the implant didnt take.  The dentist thought the top was loose, went to unscrew it and the whole implant came out. :-/
I can post some during pics, but due to blood they arent work safe.

Eggtastico

well im here!
had my consultation this morning... xrays, some impressions, a few injections & then some tooth shaping.

going under the knife tomorrow as I need some bone subsitution as the missing tooth has been missing so long!
Ill be having a temp. bridge while it heals for a few months & then well talk about my options

Mardoni

Good luck m8.

ewww

had root canal this morning. Seems the injury that lost the tooth done some other damage to the surrounding teeth.
FWIW, i lost the tooth playing rugby in the school yard. Someone talked me & i smacked my front teeth on the concreate.

Eggtastico

captains log.. star date....

going for 1st bridge fitting in about 2hours. Had a little more poking around this morning
& got given the quote for more work when I come back.

The surgery is tomorrow, I thought it was going to be yesterday..

by time time im finished Ill be looking at about £8k inc flights, accomodation & 2x 1 week trips...
and having different work to originally planned & more work than I originally wanted.

Mardoni

That still not a bad price, assuming that the end product is what youre after.

I was watching a programme on "Britains Worst Teeth" last night and some of the pricing for the work those people needed was shocking. £15k just for veneers !

Hope it all goes ok :)

just back from having the temp. bridge fitted.
I need some oral surgery tomorrow as the inital problem was an impact injury & part of the root was never removed, which was the complication thats lead to it costing an extra £1500 - this has caused an infection. So he said hell remove that & then as hes under the bonnet anyway hell clean everything for a fixed price of doing 1 tooth.

Then I have to wait a few months for everything to heal.

Eggtastico

now today I am pain.
The complication was 2x Cysts in my front.
One was quite large & spread into my sinus & nose area. The other was small, but still large for the kind of cysts
they was.
So they got removed pronto today. 4hr operation - inc having an impant for a missing molar.. which the dentist said will cost no extra & replace the bridge he had planned.
