..to hell.

Hope whoever did it gets hit by a car and dies slowly. Theres just no need to go round and smash the mirror off someones car, why do it? i know.. its because someone owns something better than you and since you cant have it youll ruin it. Well whoever you are, your scum and a reet c*nt to boot.

So, now im needing to get a new mirror for my boxster :( been parked outside my house for months no problems, then this morning i come out to find that! Less than happy!

zpyder

Did they smash the mirror off, or was it idiotic driving and clipping it?

Binary Shadow

was no paint on the mirror and it would have folded in if it was hit from the front or the back, definitely bashed on the top, hard, broke the alloy bracket inside

If you get CCTV you need to have a sign and register with the data protection people.

Serious

Security cameras for homes dont need to be registered AFAIK. Doubt if business ones need to be either. Reason is the level of paperwork and its really not part of the Data Protection Act.

They do if they want to be used as evidence in a court hearing. If you just want to see what your neighbours are doing 24/7 then they dont

Neighbourhood spying - fine. Spying for commercial advantage... needs to be registered and comply with DPA principles.

Weve had someone do that to our Accord, but because the Japs seem to build things properly only the glass broke.
You can see where the force has slightly dented the door where the mirror hit.

£10 for a new heated glass and we were sorted.  Although Im sure our Accord is cursed.

Binary Shadow

well its parked on the road so CCTV isnt covering it, oddly the glass is fine

Sam

Some yanky f**ker drove into the side of my car and f**ked off.

Clock'd 0Ne

People are scum. Its one of the things that always puts me off ever daring to spend money on a nice car, because theres always some pathetic, jealous scum out there that will happily deface it and sod off long into the night, never to be caught. :(

Binary Shadow

yeah, just wanting to get it fixed and sold now, started trying to sell it last month

got my old legacy to roar around in, hardly worth anyone trying to ruin that

Aye, even though by any standards a Mazda 3 isnt a "nice car", its one of the main things thats made me not too fussed about sorting out getting one. Too many drivers about that take the fun out of driving. Not sure what the deal is with the ever decreasing gaps people are leaving between themselves and the car in front. I had someone try to undertake me the other day just as I came off of a roundabout, it was a shame as I was happily about to pull in to let them pass when I noticed it, so it ended up being a case of pulling across just to piss them off and point out how tosser-ish they were being :|

Police will still use it in evidence.

Couldnt agree more. Weve already had one car written off and my better half now has long term mobility issues just because peoples IQ seems to drop 50 points the second they get behind the wheel of a car. Everything becomes a race and Im always astonished at how aggressive and competitive many otherwise normal people get whenever they drive.
