There is no argument, they do put apples in tins as shown further back in the thread.

So in conclusion, tinned apples exist, but arent that common.

My money is on them probably just not being as popular...

Most uses require fresh imported apples and pears, the main use for the tinned ones is in deserts and fruit cocktail.
