At the moment I am not sure this is a good idea. I bet Facebook probably will log all chats and sell it to advertising companies in the future or something.

What is wrong with the text chat? I connect to it via 3rd party software so never use it in the browser.

it drops out regularly, shows people as online who arent, the usual failings of a poorly implimented txt chat system.

MSN is far better (and thats saying something!) but none of my friends use that anymore so I just dont use IM at all these days.
