Picked up a couple of pet rats just over a week ago from a breeder in Basingstoke. Both dumbo eared, around 7 weeks old not and growing fast! Borrowed a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 to play with to see if i want one (for my D70). Though id post a couple of pics:

Sweet   they make brilliant pets, nice one for getting 2.

You should give them stuff they can make nests out of like ripped up newspaper.

Yh, the breeder we got them from will only sell in pairs anyway, but always best they are in pairs. They are pretty spoilt for choice of bedding, the Mrs has bought just about every small animal product available, although it does look pretty bare in that top image.

They seem to be settling in well, although Shadow (top) is much more active than Ghost who seems pretty wary of us.
