I installed Ie 7 to give it a go, look at how it handles css etc (which it actually handles better and a lot more inline with everyone else.

But it installed and removed ie6, anyone got a direct download link for it so i can use that to check the old redering of pages.

Programmers rule 1) never install beta software on your main compy, especially not when you are going to need to use the predecessor version.

TBH I have done this myself and ended up with a compy that wouldnt boot and needed a full reinstall...


after I removed all my data of course onto a second one. I was lucky it didnt do something like format C:

Sorted it, got the stand alone IE6 so fine now.
