Here are some more shots from the Red Arrows display at my work. We got to stand where you really arent allowed to and probably shouldnt because they display literally above my office.

All shots taken with my Pentax K10D and Tamron 300mm f/2.8 prime at f/8 and 1/1000th

I love the last one.

The colors have come out real well.

XEntity

Love these shots, they have come out really clear with no bleeding against the sky.

Great work!

thanks guys, I really like that Tamron lens. It can be quite tricky to use being so large and heavy and manual focus, but when you get it right it can really deliver the goods.

The fact that my Pentax gives me image stabilisation with any lens is a real plus for this sort of thing too, i dread to think what a 300 f/2.8 with IS in the lens would cost!

Helps show just how bloody close they get to each other. You can not really appreciate so much with the naked eye.

Nice, really like the 4th one would look ace printed out.

That tamron 300mm f2.8 certainly seems to produce some good results, handy having internal IS as well.  Im sure some of the other manufacterers deliberately dont do internal IS so they can charge more for their lenses.
