Yet another pointless reboot that will have crap casting, crap storyline, a bland and unoriginal score, no chemistry, etc.

This would only have worked with Shane Black, Richard Donner and Michael Kamen [RIP] doing the score back onboard (in fact they should have gone out with a bang on a LW5, where they really are too old for this sh*t (and Mel Gibson is batsh*t crazy enough to be Riggs now anyway).

Instead I bet we get some crap early 20s actors to 'bring it back round for the young cinemagoing generation' and a film that loses the promised R rating and ends up PG-13, playing about as edgy as a slug. Then a sh*tty 3D go-over.

I got the boxset for Christmas of LW1-4, they are still great films (less so 3/4), in fact I'd put 1 and 2 up there in the lofty heights of classic action films like Die Hard.

I'll stop ranting now.
