Might try a different DNS see if it is Virgins DNS going slow.... pulls at straws.....

I've experience a whole raft of ISP problems over the last few days.  Not just here, but all over the place.

Bacon was complaining he could barely connect the other day, but I've had no problems at all. It's on GoDaddy's European server if that makes any difference to anyone.

Maybe it's just the internet running out of IPv4 addresses

Tried re-booting all kit, connecting to the main router directly, changing the DNS, still going slow, only think I haven't tried so far is a different computer, or re-booting this one, but other sites seem fine hmmmm

i am getting this place like a snail is powering the gen that runs the server lol , local virgin service has no probs according to their site

This site is running great for me, but most others are poor.
I've even tried both Google and OpenDNS servers.

What sort of speeds are you getting reported at the bottom of the site?

Maybe it's Virgin then? I've tried a reboot and another laptop as well, just loading the help page took about 7 seconds!!

Tried pinging the likes of google vs here and no difference in latency.

Browsing the site keeps saying 'waiting for www.tekforums.net'

Looks like I'll have to deal with it until VM sort it out

mine says the below but still takes 10 seconds to load this place , none of the other sites i visit are running like this
