My experience on Virgin (cable) has been great, normally always get the advertised speed, except when throttled, was on 20Meg and never noticed the throttling. Like I said before browsing has been fine except on Tek and appears the PlayStation downloads are running slow as well, but that could just be Sony!

Virgin DSL wasn't as good, but that was in a little village miles from anywhere!

PSN downloads are ALWAYS slow.

Sony's servers can't handle the capacity.  Xbox servers are fine though :D
You get what you pay for.

Tek's back to normal for me now!

I'm with virgin and it's been very slow for a few weeks, it's now back to normal for me also.

Yesterday evening and today have been slow for me, other sites are fine but this one is slow. Tracerroute looks the same (9 hops and good times) though and responds quickly.

neXus

Slow for me now and could not access the site for a while.

Yesterday was the worst it has ever been for me, some pages wouldn't even load,  until about 11:30 where it started to work again properly, and is fine now too!

Still a bit ropey for me tbh, it never got any 'better'  :dunno:

If it continues I'll be emailing them to question this, there's never usually any problems but something must be amiss for so many to be affected.

Are you on Virgin as well by any chance?

Yes, on the big fiddy too  :-\

Mongoose

I've seen intermittent fart-arsing around last night (JANET) and this morning (Plusnet ADSL, then JANET), so it's not entirely confined to Virgin.

Mind our JANET connection was a bit ropey in general this morning so that bit may not have been Tek's fault.
