He's really trying it on, utter scum :disappointed: Report him, make sure you can prove to the best of your ability that he is responsible for damage.

Please for the love of God make sure you have removed your bank details from Paypal now the money is safely away.

I know it's unhelpful hindsight for you here, but there is a caveat for everyone to take many good/thorough photos of anything put on eBay to avoid this kind of thing.

not sure why but my camera is playing up , it will not focus in on the cpu so i need to find somebody close by to take some pics for me :(

edit : just tried to remove my bank details and it has refused saying a transfer has yet to finish , my seller fee's have been taken so it is not that

Just be sure to stall the bloke until you have the cash safe and sound and you can remove your details.

What a muppet! Don't forget to offer to return the chip but only if he sends you the postage!

chaotic_uk

managed to straighten the pin , just got to test it but it still bothers me that the heatspreader has marks on that it did not have on it before i sent it . not sure if he has tried to remove it to swap the chip and then return it as broken , what should i do ?

knighty

tell him to shove it and post it back to him ! (recorded)

Eggtastico

yep, I'd send him an email & say you wont refund him because the heatspreader is damaged
