Well you need to tell them you got actual users in New Zealand, EU, GB, US? and all saying the same thing with ping tests and traceroutes showing there is some form of issue.

Maybe you just need to explain that it is an intermittent issue, I think this is a different issue to the virgin issues, as that was just slow, this is just SMF not connecting to the database?

A friend of mine has the same issue with his website, intermittent dropouts and hosting server not connecting with the database server.

Frankly it's not good enough and I'm going to give them both barells now (using your screenshot too bear, that's useful).

I signed up to godaddy... got a refund & moved elsewhere within a few weeks. Thought their services was sh*t :oD

I've had no email responses yet, despite jumping down their throats when it went down earlier. They've either moved it and things will be awesome now, or it's been the height of their problems. Either way they've had some verbal from me. I never have these kind of problems on their US servers, wish I'd stuck with those now! I'll ask them to swap it if it continues.

Seems intermittent and within  ip.secureserver.net

I must have told them that about ten times now too.

Ok so it's buggered right now, can sometimes browse fine, sometimes a little slow, sometimes DB errors and sometimes I get nothing! (3rd attempt at trying to post this!)
