Cartoon Network? in my day we only had 4 channels and you had to get up to change between them! Andy Crane sat in a studio you could believe really was a broomcupboard and broadcast classics such as "Jimbo and the Jetset" which I seem to recall was my favourite as a small kiddie.

It worrys me that I increasingly feel like one of the old ones on this forum, Im only 23!!

Serious

I used to get watch with mother and a few others like the Magic Roundabout, bill and ben the flowerpot men etc.

I was depraved.... err... I mean deprived  :D

Earliest memory i have is watching the banana splits i think it was. BBC2 in the sunday morning then you had the muppets on the evening.
Other than that. Danger Mouse, super ted, play school, jaimie and his magic torch, charlton and the wheelies, emus world and many more i can think of :)

I believe my earliest specific memory of TV was watching Timmy Mallet at weekends. That or watching Rolfs Cartoon Time and The A Team with my Dad.

Shakey

May or may not have been on Cartoon Network, but I used to watch "Rude dog and the Dweebs". the old garfield series used to be good as well. I also seem to remember something called "Jason and the wheeled warriors"

We always used to have a problem with weekday afternoon cartoons, as Ghostbusters and Bravestar were on different channels and used to overlap slightly, so as soon as the credits started on one, we had to quickly change channels to catch the start of the other :)
