Microsoft have already shown off an interesting Windows 8 last week (I know Clocked does not like it) and I am interested in the direction. Being someone who is getting very heavy into UI design I like a lot of what I have seen.

In the next few hours you have Apple showing of their new OSX Lion which they have shown some elements off already which look a great step for the OS. Hopefully they will also show off their new IOS as well.
With Android making great leaps in the UI design and functionality, Windows finally offering a nice Mobile OS and WebOS3 looking dam good as well, IOS which always worked great but felt a little dated for a while now, now looks even more dated of late.
Hoping apple can Nail a great IOS revamp.

Yep, E3!!!!!

Hoping for a great E3, a lot of big developers have said they WONT be at E3, ones like Bungie and some other big names but I am hoping for cool surprises and a look at what is going on.


PS Vita:
Now come again? Ok Sony, this console looks the sh*t but really?
Still, people will finally get to play lots of games on this device.

Sony:
Been A tough few months for Sony, Their Movie arm is now being hacked but it will be interesting to see what Sony has in store.
PS3 is going now where so it has to be all about the games so what will they have?
Better and more move games finally is obvious and we already know big titles that are launching but they do not seem to have much in the bag so I am looking forward to some surprises.

Xbox:
Last year it was all about the controller so if they do it again this year I and many others will be annoyed.
Yes the Knnect will show off new features like the rumoured finger detection scripts and other cool stuff so games finally can be a lot more then what they have been so far.
I still want to see small gestures will sitting down playing an FPS or 3rd person that will be easy and not need that radial menu option.

GAMES GAMES GAMES. It has to be all about games for MS as well, People doubt they will talk about a new console as sales are still going up for the machine. They may hint but it is doubtful they will talk about it till later this year.


Nintendo:
Well it is new console time and so a lot of talk about it. Rumours will come to be true about what it has but... It is a new console, I just love new console time.. looking at the design, specs, what it can do - the games!
Another Mario everyone, Yay!....
Oh wait....
Nintendo need to do better with the games. While Smash Brothers xxxx and Mario xxx and Zelda xxx will all be amazing, it does get a little tedious to see the same stuff coming from Nintendo on the game front and for them not to support 3rd parties properly either.
Be more original, get more 3rd parties and work with them Nintendo!
Online - ONLINE PLAY MATTERS, SORT IT OUT!


What Else:

Blizzard - Will we see anything of their new MMO?
The Old Republic - I want this to be good and more of it will be shown off at E3

BATTLEFIELD 3 - MORE! This looks sh*t HOT.
This game is causing me grief as I was set to get an iMac but now I want a new PC for this game! :/

I just love watching all the new stuff, reading about it, watching the conferences etc. All very cool stuff!

I really think Windows 8 will be a step too far in the wrong direction, but I would like to be proven wrong. I'm not too fussed about most of what will be appearing, I would love to see Blizzard put out some big info on Diablo III coming out sometime soon though!

Only thing I like about what I've read about Windows 8 is that its support for ARM processors meaning it will be able to be installed/dual booted/applications transfered onto tablets / android devices but I have the feeling it will be too 'bloaty' to work well as they seem to of gone for a mutli purpose OS instead of releasing a Tablet OS and a Desktop OS.

Console wise I'm not expecting much from either Sony or Microsoft but there are some interesting games coming out. Give me more Old Republic news dammit!

Whilst battlefield 3 looks superb it isn't going to run anywhere near that well on the current gen of consoles, theres only so long you can paper over the cracks for unfortunately  but, I also do doubt MS/Sony will announce a new console which is a bit of a shame

And the wii2, well, always a mixed bag with ninty

Sigh I hope they don't compromise on the PC version to make it work on PS3.

I can't see it happening, it really is a game that demands a mouse/keyboard combination, you just couldn't convert it over as a straight port. I maintain my faith!
