I wasn't expecting a platformer

Oh god this is good, only played 15 minutes but it impresses from the off, Duke who?

Ok I have to turn this off now as I've been training tonight, was knackered already and I desperately need sleep!

It was always unrealistic to expect this to be as good as the original, myself and a lot of other people on here where fondly reminiscing about how good the original was, it was and still is in my top 5 of all time.

On an hour and a bit this is as good as the original, possibly better, the artwork is stunning, the world is phenomenal, the soundtrack is perfect. This is all on the 360 too, I'd imagine it will be even better looking on the PC. I wouldn't be surprised if this won game of the year easily, for me it dumps on portal 2 and La Noire, and don't even get me started on Duke!

So in a nutshell a lot of things can't live up to the original and leave your dissapointed and souring your memories, this will not, its breathtaking.

The original was on PC with a keyb/mouse this will work equally as well on that or a pad tbh 

Yes it was leaked yesterday, I still have my pre-order with game for the ps3, no way am I cancelling it

I know the orginal was PC Keyboard/Mouse but these new one seems more jumpy/platformy than the 1st.

With your leaked copy did you also get the re-release of the 1st which they have promised to give? If so how is it? Just a port or have they done anything to it?

No that's a code, you get it free in the box when you pre-order, or you might get it anyway, either way I don't know until my retail ps3 copy turns up.

Good news on the game length, I've just done chapter 1/5 and it's probably taken me 4 or so hours.

Sounds good. Well only a few more days to go.

A couple of reviews have panned it! The official playstation US mag gave it 50%, tbh I think they haven't played the original or just plain don't get it!

I get the feeling nowadays that unless it's an FPS or the reviewer has been backhanded you don't stand much of a chance.


Will be interesting to see what the other reviews say as more are revealed, I still maintain its brilliant, like a piece of art I tell thee

Is this the first platform game they have ever played or something!? 


I'm on chapter 3 now, its taking several hours for each chapter and it's still as good as I thought from the off I hope at least one reviewer has played a platform game before and 'gets it'

Once again a decent game getting panned because its not designed for the attention defecit console gamer generation. They could have done a DNF with it!
