This might be obvious, but I've got a friends computer at home, and I plugged my wireless dongle in for my wireless mouse and keyboard, but the computer didn't recognise it.

I was going to format the hard drive and install a fresh version of XP anyway, but.......as I only have wireless keyboards and mouses' can it be done? Will the usb keyboard and dongle work when installing XP? I don't think it will for some reason.......

I'm certain I have done it in the past, I think it's a MB limitation, rather than XP

For what it's worth, it would have worked fine.
