I've just found at thread I started in 2002 about using vegetable oil to increase engine performance. I have absolutely no memory of that, I'm not sure I even know anything about vegetable oil 

I think that was Mark or his brother (BXGTi16v), Mark has gone silent lately though, last thing he was building a 700bhp monster.

Mark still owes me a battery for a laptop I bought off him. Haven't been able to get hold of him, seems to have vanished off the face of the earth.

On re-reading my post it looks like I implied they were different people; BXGTi16v was Mark's old name, yes, but he did also had a brother that was into the cars. It's funny how people seem to vanish right before concluding a trade with someone. I genuinely hope he's alright and is coming back at some point!

I wouldn't worry about it... I bought a projector and a cisco phone from mark and both times he posted them to me before the got the cheque...

I find trusting people are also very trust worthy :-)

He replied to a pm i sent ages ago on May 11th! I thought he had popped up since then, but i could be wrong!

I wasn't implying anything with regards to Marks' trustworthiness, just that he still owes me a battery for a laptop I bought off him and I haven't been able to get hold of him since. He seemed to be very busy at the time of the purchase so I'm not sure exactly what happened to it or where it ended up, I believe it was posted but then never arrived, then posted again or something, then he apologised profusely for the hassle if memory serves.

Lovely bloke and a pleasure to trade with all in all.

This thread is turning into forum lost & found.

If anyone finds Mark, Serious or any of the others then please deposit them in the Moderator's Lounge pigeon hole.
