Looking to get a decent quality microphone to record some audio tracks (spoken) anyone got any suggestions or using one themselves already?  :)

If you're not looking to spend a lot http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/610576/-/Product.html isn't bad for the money, been using one for about a year for Skype and gaming mostly, it has been commented a few times how clear it is, best of the cheaper mic's I have tried over the years.

Depends on what you want to use it for and the quality you are looking for?

If you are looking at the more professional end of the scale, then have you thought about getting an audio mixer interface and hooking up a proper condenser mic?

Or maybe just something like this, that gets good reviews?

I'm looking to basically put the USB mic in the room behind where my pc is, it's a quiet room with no pcs or suchlike whirring away so I can lay down some audio, spoken word not rapping, don't worry

The yeti looks a good shout, thanks  :ptu:

No real budget in mind, I can spring to £80 though easily enough  :)

If you're after something a bit more portable, these are the absolute mutts nutts (my mate records interviews on them)
