Anyone had any problems importing maps into CS1.6? I copy the map files into the cstrike directory, and when I launch the map ingame it loads, but the mouse "seperates" from the game, so I cant control the player. (Esc works, for main menu and thats about it... mouse becomes like it is in Windows mode.)

Anyone know why this might be happening?

Sounds like something else is taking focus from the game maybe, what else do you have running on the pc at the time you play cs, background stuff etc

this just happening on the new maps?
where did you get them from (legit site etc)?
have you checked valve forums for someone having similar problems?
