when you first see that picture it's not that impressive, it doesn't look like anything special, we've seen loads of pictures just like it... and people running around in it in films like alien etc....  but then you stop for a second and realise that's actually a picture... from the surface of Mars

They said all thats been done to it is its been brightened slightly as they take the photo's a little underexposed.
