I guess it didn't have the following they thought it did! It's the sort of game that sounds like a bit of fun nostalgia for a what if but for a serious remake/reboot? Nah.

Indeed, as Cranium alluded to it was an utter bloody nutache to even do anything, stupidly hard as a kid and no doubt we all only had it as it was pirated from some bloke down the road :lol:

I loved them - and still own the two boxed set collections that were released with my C64. It was damn hard though - I only ever finished Magicland Dizzy and Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk. Treasure Island Dizzy (Number 2) was fecking ridiculous!!

I'd have liked to have seen this happen, but no where near enough publicity or sharing of the concept. If they'd had a proper media campaign and outlined more of their intentions and ideas I'm sure it would have done better. As it is I suspect this is a dead duck now and should probably be left in our fond memories.
