How are you all getting on with the weather?

We are properly snowed in, if I open the door about 3 foot of drifted snow is about to colapse in and the roads are completely unpassable.

Its definately the worst snow I've ever seen and another 24hrs of it forcast.

We had a bunch had to use the tractor 3 days in a row to get rid of snow.

Looks fun, have had nowt up here though, seems like its the only part of the country just about that hasn't got any at all, could change over the weekend though.

We got practically nothing in Shrewsbury. Few flakes but melted when it hit the floor

Nothing down here on the south coast, just a bit cold and wet but looks to be dry all weekend. I still haven't had my soft top down since I bought the car last year, roll on summer please! I'm not envious of you dealing with that, DEViANCE

Beanissocoollike

The man on BBC weather was just kind enough to remind viewers that this time last year we were lounging about in 20 degree weather!

Eggtastico

It's just a little grey and dreary down here on the south coast. Might have a patch of drizzle every now and then!

With temperatures like that bear do you need to take extra care with things freezing, like pipework? I don't know what temperate anti-freeze etc works down to in cars, etc off the top of my head, but I'd imagine it's risky business firing up a car in weather that cold anyway?

Well I have anti freeze in the car and it started just fine :)  As we are used to cold weather, pipes are dug down deep enough and no pipes o out side of house, problem can be there the pipe go in to the house and it has been cold and it turns warmer outside but we have an electric "sling" in the pipe that heats it just slightly but enough not to freeze (otherwise you have to leave a foucet dripping so the water moves).

Only -17 and sunny this morning.

At bit far away for my N9 but:
