anyone used this ? is it any good ?

just fixing a pc I build for someone ages ago, he had a problem with it a few months ago and I was busy so he took it to a shop to be fixed and now it's come up with the old this copy of windows is not genuine

fixed all that now, and a few other tweeks

but it has this COMODO firewall/anti-virus installed on it... I've never heard of it before... and I think it's crashing the computer now and again... not 100% on that tho... don't want to mess with it if it's a decent program

(guy using it isn't computer literate, only really needs email/word etc..)

My son uses comodo it is fairly new but some years at least, it can be little harder to use but seems to work, it has a "sandbox" which appears to work ok.

I think it's just a rebrand of another av having been bought by someone else. I've used it in the past im sure.

Who owns zone alarm nowerdays? May even be that.

Have been  using Comodo for years , does a good job.Maybe slightly more difficult to get it configured the way you want than some others but no biggie.
Only real problem i have had is that the quarantined items can stop windows backup completing(shadow copy errors)but if you delete them before you run backup there is no problem.
Who the smeg is Dwayne Dibbley ?

I changed a few options in it and left it running, all seams good now

it was on the highest security settings and blocking pretty much everything... (wlmail, explorer etc..) much better now :-)
