Hope you had a good one, I saw the pics of the meal on FB looks amazing, although I'm not sure about the funky tea

lol thanks, the tea was what the gf tried but I had a sip and it was nice though, really light and floral. I'd had a pint of their house ale and polished off most of an expensive bottle of red (also delicious) so I wasn't in need of tea. Highlight for me was the duck though. It was exceptional, but I simply couldn't believe how good the duck fat chips were amongst other things, they were so rich you wouldn't have wanted more than the five or six they give you in their copper pots. I tried a chip in the gravy and it was almost overwhelming in taste. I definitely left feeling stuffed and very satisfied!

You kept that one quiet. 

I was half expecting you to turn up at my door for the legendary 1kg lasagne and chips!

lol yeah that was epic, maybe another time when I can afford the petrol to the sticks! I'm out again tomorrow for an all you can eat and a few drinks with Ollie and co and thats about as much as I can afford at the moment sadly.
