My missus watches this. It's ridiculous. Alan Titchmarsh rocks up every week to a different house to do up their garden. Every week it's a 50 acre estate hanging off the back of a huge mansion. It's charity for the upper middle class.

*Sniff* we have this huge garden that's a bit tatty and we couldn't possibly afford to do it without giving up one of the skiing holidays or trading in the lambo and downsizing to a common Porsche.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

I caught the backend of one episode of this and thought exactly the same thing, huge house and garden the size of a football pitch. Fair play it was for a family with a disabled son or something, but the family were hardly short of a few bob in the first place.

Only bit I caught was I guess an average to slightly better off than average family, but doing it for a women that had a muscular dystrophy thing or ataxia etc.

I miss the days of good old groundforce...I went and saw Alan Titchmarsh for my 13th Birthday I think  :o
